September 3rd to honor long-time members
FUMC will host a special worship service on Sept. 3rd. It will honor the FUMC Golden Circle. This circle consists of those who have been members of FUMC for 50 years or more. Mrs. Hulda Wicks is the Queen of the Golden Circle, as her membership stretches back to 1922, or 84 years!
However, the crown for our most aged friend or member belongs to Charlotte Erickson who will celebrate her 102nd year in 2006.
Members of the Golden Circle and 80-year club will be recognized during the worship service and then will be honored guests for a reception during coffee hour. We hope many friends, family members and others will be present to celebrate with them.
Thanks for your faithful membership. It will be a joy to recognize everyone.
