Communion
Communion is served at the First United Methodist church the fourth Sunday of the month. The United Methodist Church believes in an open communion--one that is open to anyone who wishes to partake.
Communion services are also offered on Holy Thursday and on Christmas Eve. A unique "come and go" communion and prayer vigil will accompany our observance of Good Friday.
Communion is offered at the nursing homes in Decorah on the fourth Monday of the month.
Home communion is offered quarterly, or as arranged with one of the Pastors.
